Welcome to Toast Arcade, a site dedicated to writing articles on Internet Flash applications, meaning; flash games and movies.
To start I’d like to write up about a neat interactive Flash I found called flOw which is an interesting sim like game, in the vein of Fishy. In flOw you control a micro-organism with the mouse and move it to eat other smaller micro-organisms and grow larger (thats the relation between flOw and Fishy). The graphics are rather simple and yet look very nice, with an excellent song to accent the mood of the game. It is a demo however as the creators intend to make a full version for the PS3 (flOw PS3 page). This demo version is very primitive and grows rather monotoneous after eating 15 or so micro-organisms and there is not any depth to the game. It seems like a neat interactive toy right now, and the full version game looks better graphically but not in gameplay.
I give the demo version a 6/10, it seems like a very unique game but the playable version we got now has no depth or no real goal, and gets boring very shortly.
Huzza! First review completed! I hope to try and include more information about each Flash, but not too much; keep it short and simple and if you are interested in it then I do suggest checking out the links for further information.

I just happened to read your comment on “don’t ask me to read your holy book”. I don’t understand aethist christianity. I also do not believe in the religion of the church, I believe in Jesus and His Father, our Creator, God. It is unfortuneate that people associate religion with God. When I tell people I am not a religious person, they get all twisted in the face. When I tell them I am a child of the Most High God, and Jesus Freak, they think I am some kind of fanatic. God never intended it to be about “religion”, it is all about having a deep understanding of who He is, what He has done and who His Son is. Sadly, this all gets lost in the translation in most churches. Now don’t get me wrong, there are positive things about church and that is you have fellowship with others who believe as you do, you have a support system, a place to praise and to worship God and you declare openly your belief in God. It’s all the other stuff that comes along with the church that set it in a bad light and I feel that it is because churches have become businesses versus sanctuaries. Just wanted to share my thoughts with you. God Bless.

After I posted my comment I decided to check out the flOw link. I agree with you, it’s fun for the first few minutes then it gets a bit monotonous. It should be interesting to see what further developments and enhancements they add – it could be really cool.

Glad you read the article, I’m trying to not be biased when rating, thus I’m going to be tougher, I actually have not even finished up a 10/10 picture, since I do not think I will ever use it, lol.
And by athiest I mean, sometimes I wonder what the church is doing and sometimes don’t believe in what they are doing. I do prefer to believe in a God but your right, the church has turned it into a business; and a South Park episode last night was mocking missionaries and I felt, that is completely true. The church today is after money, and the problem is the lack of biblical teaching thus I don’t feel like I’m being tought, and then some churches are to intense and make you really depressed. Oh well.
You should check out Tedi, its a very good cartoon, and if you find any good games, feel free to link me to them : )
